Welspun steel limited is one of the leading manufactures of Directly Reduced Iron(DRI),
Steel Billets and Reinforcement bars compyling to India as well as Intenational standard
specifications. Welspun Steel Limited was established in 2004 and located in welspun
city, Anjar (Gujrat). Welspun's obsession for quality is exhibited in our refusal to
accept anything even slightly short of perfection, right from the raw material stage.
With an eye for meticulous process controls, strict compliance to specifications,
standards and our own conviction, every steel var that rollout of our mill carries a
mark of interity and quality. Welspun Stell facility is spread over an area of about 250
acres and operates with a total manpower strength of about 1,000 plus including staff
and workmen. Of the total employment, 85% personnel are involved with various technical
disciplines and about 15% with administration and management roles. Welspun Steel
Limited manufactures Certified Ribbed Thermo Mechanically treatred(TMT) Reinforcement
Bars employing EVO-TECH quenching technology in size range of 8mm to 40mm diameters.

Welspun steel limited an integrated route of manufacturing which involves:
Captive DRI(Directly reduced Iron)
Captive Billets
Captive power generation all under one roof.
The process starts with use of world class Iron ore or Iron ore pellets coming from
globally recognized sources, imported coal from South Africa and Indonesia to make
Quality DRI. This DRI along with high grade scrap coming from best of the yards in
Europe/ elsewhere is than processed in to steel billets in one of the most modern and
state-of-art melt shop. The steel melt shop houses 2x45 Mtons Electric Induction
Furnaces, an equal capacity of automatic digitally controlled Ladle Refining
Furnace(LRF) by Sarralle, Spain is Equipped with most advanced process controls.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org
Archive-It Team) is a
rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or
deleted websites for the
